Emboldening Athletes to Perform at a Higher Level

Our training process centers on athletes’ lack of confidence in their ability to speak up, take calculated risks, problem solve and trust their individual process of learning and discovery.

Most traditional training uses fear-based methods built on comparison and extrinsic motivation (i.e. “if you don’t make X amount of shots you’ll have [insert punishment]”). These methods yield short-term results but create anxious athletes that are afraid to make mistakes down the road. This is often the reason behind “headcases” athletes that “peak” or those that struggle with consistency.

We are process-based. We believe that when focusing on and honing the process of improving the results come naturally. We always think about each athletes’ maximum potential and play up strengths that they overlook in themselves. We encourage leaning into the discomfort of not knowing and looking silly while learning.

Confidence comes from doing

We know what it's like to not feel confident when you’re playing. We also know what it feels like to be frustrated by your performance, knowing that you’re capable of more, but not knowing how to bring it out.

Procedural memory-the memory of how to do certain things-plays a big role in our sessions. Through consistent practice, the body begins to “remember” specific skills without consciously thinking about them.

We teach and hone skills to be used at every position and level. As a result, the breadth of skills taught increases versatility, freedom, and confidence.

Our training is for serious athletes only.
