Benefits of personal training

FAQs

My kids have opposite strengths and weaknesses. How does personal training work around that?

We incorporate drills that challenge players and cause them to struggle. After struggle and frustration, we backtrack and each player receives 1-2 areas to individually focus on improving in. There are at least 5-10 other things to draw out and improve on within that same drill, so there is always a challenge for each athlete to focus on.

Isn't private training better than group training for skills?

While one-on-one training has some benefits, it often creates more disadvantages in the long run for athletes. The most prominent is that it fosters an overreliance on training sessions for improvement rather than own individual work.

How many individual videos can we send to Coach Moss?

With any plan, athletes can send their self-workout videos to Coach Moss for direct feedback throughout the month. The videos are a way to hold athletes accountable and ensure they're doing their own work.

I want to train with my friends. Can I do that?

With our referral program, for every 2 athletes you refer that sign up, you'll earn a free month of training.

Why do you only train during the first 3 weeks of the month?

Our 3 of 4 model is more sustainable for athletes' long-term growth, development, and overall health. We seek to instill accountability and motivate athletes to continue developing their game outside of our sessions. This model allows them to focus on actually attaining and mastering a skill. The last week is reserved for rest, self-workouts, and/or emergency make-up sessions.

Can I train with my brother/sister?

Yes! We siblings are more than welcome to train together!

Will personal training really work for my athlete?

The better question to ask is: will your athlete really work for it? We are committed to athlete development. But to experience growth, your athlete must be equally committed to doing the work.

Can I change plans if I decide I want to train more/less?

Yes! Reach out to Coach Moss via the Get in Touch page, mention your current plan, and state the plan that you want to switch to that better suits your needs.
